Look inside :.

August 28, 2007

“If you want to take your mission in life to the next level, if you’re stuck and you don’t know how to rise, don’t look outside yourself. Look inside. Don’t let your fears keep you mired in the crowd. Abolish your fears and raise your commitment level to the point of no return, and I guarantee you that the Champion Within will burst forth to propel you toward victory.”

Patience, Buffy :.

August 24, 2007

Dearest Buffy,

You often think with your heart and not your head. Not that it’s a bad thing, it’s taken you places and on adventures that you could have never dreamed about if you had done otherwise.

You’re still living off the high of an adventure just taken. It should fuel your dreams and ambitions for a little while. But in that high, don’t forget that you still have a life and responsibilities. It’s easy to forget about the day to day things when you’re high as a kite up on cloud 9, without a string to keep you grounded.

I know you want to free yourself from those shackles, and your enthusiasm and ideas are admirable, so is the determination that you’ve shown, but in all the excitement, don’t forget to plan.. Because those who fail to plan, plan to fail.

Think about your goals, think of ways to make them happen. Make a plan, give yourself time to prepare, and then take your steps forward.

“Someone has defined genius as intensity of purpose: the ability to do, the patience to wait. Put these together and you have achievement.” ~ Leo J. Muir

Keep this quote in mind, every time you feel like rushing into things..

But don’t spend too much time thinking, that you forget to keep living..

With Love,

Buffy.

Don’t let them hold you back :.

August 20, 2007

Dearest Buffy,

Don’t let other people steal your dreams. Don’t let them tie you down to places you don’t want to be. You’ve taken the first step to steering your own destiny, taking back your life.. so listen not to the promises of money and investments.. Your dream, your ultimate goal is one that will not tie you down here.

Focus hard. Visualise. For now, make your immediate goal a reality. Set it in stone, and let that be your guidance and encouragement to keep going.

Don’t forget about your duties now. Even while you dream of your better life, make sure you take care of your responsibilities.

But remember every moment, every breath, that you were meant for more. A small life is not for you. Your dreams are big, far-sighted and absolutely achievable.

Believe in yourself. Believe in ‘the dream.’

With love,

Buffy.

Don’t lose sight of what you really want :.

August 18, 2007

Dearest Buffy,

It’s not easy to step out of your comfort zone and become the person that you most want to be. It was never supposed to be easy, but you’ve taken the first step to getting where you need to go to become the person that you’re really meant to be.

Despite all the emotional ties, and the difficulties you face, you must not waver from your path. Keep in mind your ultimate goal, and you will make it. Forget all the haters, back-stabbers and nay-sayers, the disbelievers, false friends and those who don’t have your best interests at heart.

Only you know what you really need now.

You’re 25 years old. You’ve been through a long and arduous personal journey that has gotten you to this point. You have been to hell, and back, and emerged stronger than before, wiser, and more centered and focused. All the hardships you have faced until now have prepared for what you ultimately want in life. Don’t let setbacks get you down, don’t let bumps in the road allow you to turn back.

You are brave, and you are strong. Noone will ever understand you the way you wish to be understood, because no one has seen or experienced what you have. Take it all in stride that you are uniquely different, and because of it, this is why you want to forge your new journey into the unknown. Even if it means that you have to walk alone, you are no stranger to it.

Seek out guidance along the way, but make your own choice. It’s okay to be afraid, but bravely venture on.

Life is an adventure. Embrace it with open arms.

People may try to hold you back, but don’t let them, never let others get in the way of your dreams.

From now on, Buffy, take your life, and make it your own. Don’t let anyone else lead you. No matter what it takes.

Always have faith. Always believe.

Take care of yourself and your health. Try not to be too emotional and rush headlong into things. But by the same token, don’t be afraid to take a new opportunity as it arises.

You are meant for great things.

Believe in yourself.

Love,

Buffy.
